Disposable email checker
Check whether an address belongs to a throwaway email provider, is correctly formatted, and has a domain that can actually receive email.
What this checks
That the address is valid, whether its domain is one of more than 72,000 known disposable (temporary) email providers, and whether the domain exists and has mail servers.
The same check toSend runs
This is the list and the format check the toSend API uses before sending. Addresses on disposable domains, and domains that don't exist, are stopped before they're sent, so they never reach a mail server and can't hurt your sending reputation.
Questions
Why block disposable addresses?
They stop working within hours or days. Mail sent to them later bounces, and a high bounce rate hurts your sending reputation. People also use them to claim free trials more than once.
Is the address I check stored?
No. The check runs in your browser. Only the domain leaves it: your browser looks it up in public DNS through Cloudflare, and downloads the small part of our list it falls in. The full address isn't sent anywhere.
Does it tell me if the mailbox exists?
No. It checks the address format and the domain, not the individual mailbox. The only reliable way to confirm a mailbox is to send to it, ideally with a confirmation link.
