One account for every client you send email for.
Give each client their own team, with separate domains, logs and sending reputation. Pay for all of them from one balance, on one invoice, at $0.30 per 1,000 emails.
Every client in one table
Your Billing page lists every client team with its status, domains and the email it sent in the last 30 days. Open a team to see its domains, logs and keys as if it were its own account.
-
Kept apart
Each client is its own team, with its own domains, logs and API keys.
- Sending reputation is tracked per team, so one client's bounces don't slow down another's email
- Suspend one team and the rest keep sending
- API keys can be limited to a single domain
- Choose the US or EU sending region per team
-
Billed together
Every team draws from one credit balance on your account.
- Top up once for all clients, from $10
- One invoice, with your company name, address and VAT number
- A low-credit alert before anyone's email stops
- Credits never expire, so quiet months cost nothing
-
Run from one place
One login, and a team switcher to move between clients.
- See each team's status, domains and last 30 days of sending
- Search any client's email log by address when they ask where an email went
- Daily or weekly summaries by email
- Add or remove a team in a few clicks
Onboard clients from your own tools
The Admin API does from code what the dashboard does by hand: create a team, add the client's domain, create a sending key for their site. One admin key covers all your teams, and you pick the team per request.
- Keys carry only the permissions you give them, and a client team's key can never reach your account or other clients.
- Domains verify by themselves once the client's DNS records are live.
# 1. Create a team for the client
curl https://api.tosend.com/v2/teams \

# → {"data": {"id": 4211, "status": "active"}}

Install the free FluentSMTP plugin on each site, choose toSend and paste the key for that client's team. WooCommerce receipts, password resets and form notifications then go through toSend. FluentSMTP is built by the same team as toSend.

SMTP settingsAgency questions
How many client teams can I have?
25 by default. If you manage more clients than that, contact support and we'll raise the limit for your account.
Do my clients get their own login?
Not today. Teams are managed from your account, through the dashboard or the Admin API. Your clients never see your balance or your other clients.
How should I charge my clients?
That's up to you. Every team's sending over the last 30 days is shown on your Billing page, so you can pass the cost on at our rate, bundle it into a care plan, or add a margin.
Is there a white-label option?
No. The dashboard is toSend-branded, and emails go out from your clients' own domains, so recipients never see toSend.
What happens when a client leaves?
Delete their team or just their domain. When you delete a verified domain, we email you the DNS records that can now be removed, so nothing is left behind in the client's DNS.
Can I keep some clients on another provider?
Yes. toSend works alongside other providers, so you can move one client at a time.
