Send a test
Use Send Test Email in FluentSMTP, then find the email in your toSend logs. Every email the site sends now goes through toSend.
FluentSMTP and toSend are built by the same team
FluentSMTP runs on more than 500,000 WordPress sites. We built toSend so those sites have an email service made to work with it, from people who answer support for both.
In your WordPress admin
- A log of every email the site sent
- A fallback connection if toSend can't be reached
- Different connections for different sender addresses
- Your API key encrypted, or kept in wp-config.php
In your toSend dashboard
- Search 14 days of email by address
- Bounces and complaints, with the reason
- Bad addresses blocked from future sends
- Daily or weekly summaries by email
Running sites for clients?
Give each client their own team with separate domains, logs and reputation. One balance and one invoice cover them all.
toSend for agenciesNot only WordPress
The same account sends from any app with SMTP settings, and from your own code through the API and SDKs.
toSend for developersWordPress questions
Why do WordPress emails go to spam or never arrive?
By default WordPress hands email to your web host's server, which usually can't prove it's allowed to send for your domain. Mailbox providers treat unauthenticated mail with suspicion. Sending through toSend signs every email for your domain with DKIM, so it's accepted as genuinely yours.
Do I need a developer?
No. You'll need access to your domain's DNS settings to add three records, and to your WordPress admin to install FluentSMTP. If your DNS is on Cloudflare, one click adds the records.
Does FluentSMTP cost anything?
No. FluentSMTP is free on WordPress.org and will stay free. You only pay toSend for the emails you send, at $0.30 per 1,000, after your first 10,000.
I already use another SMTP plugin. Do I have to switch?
No. Any plugin with SMTP settings can send through smtp.tosend.com with your API key as the password. FluentSMTP connects over the API and adds logs and a fallback connection, which is why we recommend it.
What happens if toSend is unreachable?
Set a fallback connection in FluentSMTP. If toSend can't be reached, FluentSMTP tries the fallback, so a password reset still goes out.
I manage a lot of client sites. How does that work?
Give each client their own team in your toSend account and use that team's key on their site. Their domains, logs and sending reputation stay separate, and one balance pays for all of them.
