Migration guides
Move to toSend one app at a time.
Every guide runs both providers side by side, so nothing has to switch over in one go. Each one maps the concepts, API fields, SMTP settings and webhook events.
- From Postmark Postmark's API maps closely onto ours. Most apps need a new client, lower-case field names and an array for recipients. Everything else can stay where it is while you move. Read the guide
- From Mailgun Mailgun takes form fields on a per-domain URL. toSend takes one JSON body on one URL, with the domain read from the From address. The rest maps across directly. Read the guide
- From SendGrid SendGrid wraps recipients in personalizations and the body in a content array. toSend puts them at the top level. If you use SMTP, only the host and credentials change. Read the guide
- From Resend Resend's API is the closest to ours. Most apps change the client, turn recipient strings into objects, and are done. The one thing to plan is DNS. Read the guide
- A FluentSMTP site Move a WordPress site's FluentSMTP connection from SES, Mailgun, SendGrid, Postmark or SMTP to toSend, keeping the old one as a fallback. Read the guide
